Tai Chi QiGong is a low impact mindfulness in movement practice which provides a sequence of healing exercises and techniques originating from China. The practice strengthens the body, relaxes the mind and provides you with time to focus on yourself. Easy to learn, I teach simple routine's consisting of continuous fluid movements, combined with deep rhythmic breathing and good posture. As you begin to learn the moves you can gradually increase the repetitions and by developing your routine you will release tension, creating a sense of calm and focus. Once you have learned these easy to learn practical routine's in class you can practise alone or with friends anywhere, anytime. Most classes will also include seated, standing or lying whilst experiencing meditation also.
Increasingly, stress and fatigue as well as muscular aches and pains are becoming a part of everyday modern living. Tai Chi QiGong provides simple exercises and strategies to help us cope with inevitable pressures of life, develop overall body strength and complement other sports training and relaxation methods you may also enjoy. It is also a wonderful practice to spend some time taking care of yourself through relaxation and breathing methods that can begin to relax the body and mind, enabling you to begin to develop inner peace and tranquility.
